Today will be the last of the animals segment of our “Why Vegan” series, in which we’ll be discussing the two industries people ask me the most about: eggs and dairy. If you’ve ever wondered “Why don’t vegans eat eggs or milk and other dairy products?”, or if you are vegan and get this question often and need a little information on this subject, this episode will be perfect, and great for sharing with friends or family who have asked you questions. We also discuss free range farms, cage free farms, smaller family farms, humane labels in eggs and dairy products and much more.
The animals were my personal reason for going vegan, so to round off this difficult section on our treatment of animals in the series, I used this moment to also tell you about the lives they lead when they aren’t being used for food. I share why these animals aren’t that different from our beloved dogs and cats, and I give you lots of hope and happy tales after a few episodes with more difficult topics.

In our next episode in the series we’ll continue with the impact our food industry has on our fellow human beings, so stay tuned.
